Crate and Barrel’s modern, affordable sister CB2 is opening its door in Toronto this weekend, replacing the purple monster Big Bop and ending its long reign over the Bathurst and Queen corner. IKEA should be worried – a peek at CB2’s website confirms their pretty stuff could rival IKEA’s stronghold on Toronto’s student market. And it’s much, much closer!

I can’t believe how quickly the Holidays have arrived. I’m even a little ashamed to admit that I’ve skipped everything festive this season. It’s been a rather chaotic Autumn and to be frank, I’m just grateful to escape to Paradise come Boxing Day! The thought of a beach has me splurging on a few Springlike additions – including some sporty items. The bf and I have planned an active few weeks, though lazy afternoons reading sound wonderful too. What are your holiday plans? x

Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season to shop, and I’m anxious to get my hands on a few new items: black leather boots, wine colored cords, a cream skirt and a few soft sweaters to name a few. The Miller sisters’ Twenty8Twelve Fall collection is enticing; I can already see a few of the pieces fitting in nicely with my current Fall wardrobe! And yes, mine is also filled with black clothes – the story of any TV/film producer’s wardrobe.
Have you visited Anthropologie lately? I love their Indian inspired collection. The bright colours and breezy fabrics are the perfect match for Toronto’s humid summers!
