A Handmade Invitation (Part I).

My bosom friend Dominique bestowed upon me the pleasure and honor of  designing her wedding invitations- An undertaking I took very seriously!

I combed the internet and book stores for inspiration. Her colours are navy blue and cream. Her wedding an intimate soirée for 85 loved ones this August. I wanted the invitation to reflect her elegant self, while staying true to the formal yet relaxed evening reception.

The hurdle? Dominique’s budget for the invites was $200, a small but do-able $2.35 per invitation. I settled on homemade ones, with as many details from things that inspire me.

Some of the best from the web.
